Longing for a De'Longhi
When I was 21, APC Jeans, espresso machines, and Wallpaper Magazine were about the coolest things on earth. And as a copywriter, I could be around all three.
Me studying hard to achieve this might be a fabricated memory, but that is what I recall doing. Then a viral song turned my life upside down.
The money I made rapping got me a nice pair of jeans, but the rest of my dreams sadly never became reality.
I've done some freelance work over the years, mostly writing press texts for record labels and night clubs. I had a brief year as a social media manager and did some translations for a video game.
Can't say it's been a proper career. But I guess it's never too late, one day I might get that espresso machine.
Getting UXed to It
I am currently in school, learning how to not make terrible UX Design. So far, I have learned quite a lot about user research, wireframes, and ketchup bottles. And I am excited to learn more!
It is an art form, they say. To find the right problems for all these incredible solutions. Sure sounds easier than it is.
